Ran a 9 minute mile today, pretty weak compared to the easy 7 minute mile I ran on Saturday. I hope by next week I can start running 2 miles. Sad, I know, but I need to build up my cardiovascular endurance from years of just hitting iron. For the weights, I hit chest and triceps with Jon and Alex for about an hour. Chest was hit pretty hard but the workout wasn't very intense. Will need to pick up the slack at night or after the workout for sure.
As for diet.. I was aiming for 1500 calories today but ended up at 1613 cals, 31g of fat, 129g of carbs, and 192g of protein. Not too bad for the first day, but MUCH room for improvement. Those few chips and beans tipped the scale :(
