I will still keep my diet the rest of the week because I plan on getting right back on it when I come back, so everything isn't a complete waste. Gotta cut down for Halloween of course! Though, I am disappointed that these 2 weeks haven't been exactly what I planned. However, I've learned a few things. One, diets take a lot of preparation and planning. Not only do you need the physical supplies, but you also need to check-in mentally. If you're not fully devoted to a diet/lifestyle change then it's NEVER going to happen. And two, diets take time. No one is perfect and can get straight into a hardcore diet right away, especially if there are other forces in their environment which make this difficult. There needs to be time to adjust to the diet and time to adjust the diet itself to suit what's possible for each individual.
Overall, I feel I've gotten a pretty good plan of attack for when I come back from my Hawaiian vacation. The diet is there and planned, my workouts have been adjusted, and I have a good 4-5 weeks to get things rolling.
Will keep logging the rest of the week to tell you guys how things go!
