Day 5 & 6: The weekend begins!

I wasn't lying when I said I destroy myself over the weekend. I started Friday off like every other day, banana, protein shake, etc. When it came time for lunch, I knew I would probably be having a larger not so great lunch later so I just had some kimchi and Diet Coke to hold me over until then:

That was good and all, but when I went home my mom had a FULL TRAY of southern fried chicken wings laying out for me... NOOOO. My weakness, once again! I love you mom, but stop trying to make me fat! Anyway, I was extremely surprised when I was only able to eat 3 chicken wings.. not so bad. It hurt to log that into my "Dailyplate," for real. Later on, we went to go eat some sushi which is good if you don't get any rolls. I stuck with yellow tail nigiri for a total of 500-600 calories - non-deep-fried calories, that is. Hey, still trying here!

Unfortunately, things turned for the worse when I went to go watch the movie "Ponyo" with my girlfriend... as I bought the tickets I swiped my Regal card which gave me a FREE POPCORN! WOOHOO... wait... I ended up eating that entire sucker. Damnit! All that hard work gone for some buttery goodness. As Angie would say, "It wasn't worth it."

Nothing in life is free... Bwahaha!!

Worse part is, I got MAJOR food coma and ended up sleeping through the movie. Now I'll never know what happened to poor Ponyo!!
Ponyo

Did Ponyo restore the balance between nature and humans? Who knows.. ZZZZzzz.

Lesson? Fatty foods make you tired, fat and miss good movies! Ok, I wasn't able to blog Thursday night or Friday night like I planned, so I wont promise anything right now, but I'll keep logging my calories/nutrition. I haven't been able to get my protein as high as I like while keeping my fats down. Will work on that.

About to go out to eat lunch with the gf and parents. Must stay strong with my food choices!

Hope to check back in soon! Hasta manana!
